Irish Land Paintings

Irish land paintings come directly from living in and on the rugged land of north Co. Mayo, Ireland. Weather from the north Atlantic sweeps rain and wind across mountains and bog cleaning the air, enhancing the light and deepening the colours. My paintings are a reflection of how I see and feel my place within this land. They are in mixed media, oil and cold wax and oil and acrylic on paper and canvas.
